At the head office in St Asaph, North Wales, we have excellent training facilities which are used to carry out the necessary training of employees and franchisees from across the UK. Most recently, effective online training has been delivered via Microsoft Teams due to current Covid regulations, which is likely to become a permanent offering for UK wide programmes.
The role of Learning and Development Manager (L&D)
As the Learning and Development Manager you’ll lead the Learning and Development team in delivering a learning and development strategy for the organisation across the UK.
You’ll design, develop and implement training and development plans for all roles ranging from our lawn operatives through to our business leaders, in order for them to successfully deliver against the business objectives. You’ll also ensure our network of franchisees and their teams are consistently supported by improving their training in order to achieve key performance indicators.
There is no shortage of opportunity to review and improve upon the current training offering and create from scratch entirely new processes to help train and develop our most important asset – our colleagues. As such, your duties will also include but not be limited to:

The Package
You’ll be joining an organisation in which you can really make your mark through your work and be a key player in driving the business forward to even greater success.
You will be employed on a permanent contract with full time hours within Monday to Friday, and will receive a salary in the region of £30,000 to £33,000 with the level dependent on experience.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, you will be required to work from home initially, but you will need to visit the office as required to meet the demands of the role. Once restrictions have lifted, there is potential for some part remote working to continue for the right candidate.
Our head office is on the St Asaph Business Park in North Wales, conveniently located on Junction 26 of the A55, less than 40 minutes from Chester by car.
