Accounts Administrator

Our 50 colleagues are at the heart of everything we do, and we have an opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join our dedicated, energetic and passionate team.

The Role - Accounts Administrator

Reporting to the Managing Director, as the Accounts Administrator, you will take a proactive and organised approach to day-to-day accounts administration tasks, ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping. Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

  • Income management – invoicing, credits statement and reconciliations
  • Expenditure management – supplier, purchase orders, payments, petty cash, and bank
  • Supporting the external Accountant with payroll tasks
  • Dealing with insurance claims and renewals
  • Assisting with annual support agreements and contracts for clients
  • Liaising with customers regarding contract renewals
  • Providing administrative support to the Chairman when required

The Package

As the Accounts Administrator, you’ll benefit from:

  • Salary in the region of £20,000 to £25,000 with the level dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Annual leave rising to 25 days plus bank holidays through length of service increments
  • Company pension scheme
  • Permanent contract with full time hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

Our Requirements – Accounts Administrator

  • Proven experience within a similar role encompassing bookkeeping and accounts administration, preferably using Sage 50
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Timely and accurate data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills, both written and verbal

Due to current government guidelines, you will be required to work from home initially, with the

occasional visit to the office currently in Denbigh (North Wales) when needed.

Once restrictions ease, we will be moving into our new and modern offices near St Asaph in North Wales, at which point you will benefit from our Flexible Working Policy which will combine working from home and the office as required.
