Field Sales Executive – Predominantly working from home / field based covering the UK

The business is now investing in the next stage of its development, resulting in the creation of this fantastic opportunity for a confident and charismatic Field Sales Executive to join our dedicated Commercial Team.

The Role – Field Sales Executive

Reporting to the National Sales & Innovation Manager, as a Field Sales Executive you will utilise your selling and business development skills to help us grow our business across a variety of sectors in the UK. You will be both a hunter and gatherer, generating leads and driving opportunities with the support of the Marketing Communications Team.

Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:

  • Establishing and building strong relationships with both customers and our internal team
  • Identifying buyers, key influencers, and new opportunities
  • Conducting regular product demonstrations as part of selling process
  • Attending and representing the company at exhibitions
  • Monitoring and reporting progress and competitor activity
  • Achieving monthly and annual sales and call target
  • Driving business growth in emerging sectors

  • Permanent contract (upon successful completion of probationary period), working full time hours Monday to Friday

You will be working from home, travelling to prospective and existing client sites across the UK. Regular visits to our head office in North Wales will be required.

Our Requirements – Field Sales Executive

  • Have proven field sales and product demonstration experience
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Can effectively establish and build rapport with your customers. They make time for you because you add value when you meet them
  • Are a confident presenter of products, both face to face and online, and use a consultative approach to offer the best solutions
  • Are analytical and use data to inform your approach to business development
  • Have a strong set of ‘family values’ that inform the way you conduct yourself on a daily basis. These will include being dependable, committed, purposeful and above all, genuinely care about our products and customers
  • Are a confident and consistently strong performer
  • Are a team player but also enjoy working independently
  • Within 1-2 years you would like to be considered for a career step upwards, justified by the results you achieve

Although not essential, experience of selling to the public sector would be highly advantageous.
