The Role - Resource Planning Analyst

Working closely with the People Planning Manager, your focus will be on making sure we maximise our PA resource to help ensure that service levels and KPI’s are reached in order to delight our clients. Your purpose is to make sure we have the right people in the right place at the right time to deliver strong service levels – keeping a close eye on real time activity to make sure we have cover in the right places.

You will be responsible for delivery of scheduling and supporting delivery of all people planning performance metrics as well as managing and monitoring planned absence so that we get the balance of a happy workforce and happy clients right.

You will also play a key role in the implementation of new resource planning software, supporting the balance between good productivity and a well-established happy culture and working environment we have at Moneypenny.

Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:

  • Owning overtime allocations to ensure the budget is optimised and the best service level outcomes are achieved
  • Working with the People Planning Manager to identify ways to improve performance and efficiencies
  • Providing feedback to the Operational team on trends to ensure optimisation is always in place
  • Supporting the analysing of historical data available to identify any trends that can help achieve ultimate efficiency when it comes to reaching service levels
  • Completing regular analysis of planned versus actual call volumes and providing reporting on headcount and FTE levels
  • Producing adhoc reports to reflect performance
  • Supporting the regular assessment of shift patterns with a view to making recommendations
  • Liaising with the People Planning Manager and Sector Operations Team to consider and react to new large clients which may help drive up service levels
  • Continually reconciling call volumes against department numbers and adjusting recruitment plans and recommendations accordingly

Requirements - Resource Planning Analyst

  • Proven experience in a resource planning role
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion of interpreting data to understand issues, inform and drive change
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • A logical and analytical thinker with attention to detail and the ability to identify trends in service level performance
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Super organised and able to work on your own initiative
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Drive and confidence to improve performance
  • High degree of personal resilience

You will be employed on a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week within Monday to Friday, based from our offices in Wrexham, North Wales.
