Family Solicitor

Hybrid working option available after 6 months in the role, allowing you to combine working from home with working at one of our 6 offices across North Wales.

This is an amazing opportunity for either a talented Solicitor or CILEX Legal Executive to join the Matrimonial department at North Wales’s leading law firm for commercial and personal legal services, Gamlins Law.

Our team of 78 colleagues operate from 6 offices across the region and we see ourselves as trusted advisors to all our corporate and private clients. We have a large family department, specialising in all areas of family law. 

The Role – Family Solicitor

Reporting to the Director, as a Family Solicitor you’ll hit the ground running with an established caseload and plenty of opportunity to take on new cases.

You’ll manage your own caseload and you will deal with matters from initial enquiry, processing public funding assessments and applications and overseeing matters through to conclusion.

There is a varied workload with this role, which will include dealing with divorce, separation and cohabitation disputes and financial settlements, whether privately or publicly funded.

Our Requirements – Family Solicitor

  • Be a qualified Family Solicitor or CILEX qualified, with experience conducting a caseload of divorce
  • Experience with financial remedy caseloads, including contested and consented cases (including the drafting of documentation and preparation of court bundles)
  • Ability to work independently as well as assisting the Senior Fee Earner
  • Superb communication skills with experience dealing with clients, experts, counsel, and courts
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A salary in the region of £30,000 to £35,000, level dependent on experience and negotiable for a highly experienced Solicitor
