Marketing Manager – Hybrid working option available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing business Meadow Foods. As we continue to grow, develop, and enhance our sites, we require a passionate Marketing Manager to plan and execute the Company’s marketing strategy.

Our Company

For 25 years, Meadow Foods has built strong relationships with both farmers and customers to become a leading supplier of milk and dairy ingredients to the food industry.

Home of our Butter and Butter Oils, our Chester site produces butter, anhydrous milk fat and milk concentrates. Situated just south of Chester on the Welsh border, the site currently occupies 11 acres, and is also home to our head office which employs around 60 people.

The Role - Marketing Manager

As the Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in building brand awareness and customer acquisition, and will be liaising with internal stakeholders; working with and managing external agencies (including devising briefs); and creating, measuring, and reporting on marketing outcomes.

The role will comprise of 20% strategic activity and 80% execution, and specific duties will include:

  • Developing a marketing and communications strategy/brand proposition
  • Leading and delivering effective engagement and communications campaigns, projects and activities
  • Delivering effective and consistent internal communications with the leadership team, contributing to the planning and delivery of external communications
  • Working with all departments to produce a plan of engagement across specific areas that complements and supports the overall strategy
  • Producing a PR campaign relevant to the strategy, including social media and online events
  • Producing communications toolkits and social media plans for key projects
  • Supporting event management with raising the profile of Meadow Foods at events
  • Creating a brand across all communications that appeals to a diverse audience, supporting Meadow Foods’ diversity and inclusion agenda
  • Managing the marketing budget
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing, and making recommendations for different campaign approaches

Our Requirements - Marketing Manager

  • Experience within a similar marketing role, improving marketing effectiveness and monitoring ROI by campaign and data set
  • Strong digital skills and a good understanding of social media
  • Fantastic verbal and written communicator who can adapt to different styles
  • Ability to build successful working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
  • A leader who can manage whilst also being a collaborative team player
  • Awareness of global and cultural issues and the benefits that diversity and inclusion can bring to a business
  • Creative with a passion for inspiring and engaging through communications
  • Strategic thinker and innovator with integrity and resilience
  • A “do-er” who can ‘roll their sleeves up’ when required and resolves issues with minimum fuss

You will be working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm at our Chester site, although there is the option for hybrid working.
