The Role – Digital Officer

Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll assist in delivering our digital strategy, playing a key role in developing digital channel solutions that improves engagement between us and our tenants. This will involve:

  • Identifying grant funding opportunities and co-ordinating bids for new digital projects
  • Engaging with tenants, groups and partner organisations to break down barriers to digital and social exclusion
  • Increasing the sign-up and engagement of tenants with the tenant’s portal
  • Advising and providing reports for the Operations Director on all matters relating to digital inclusion
  • Supporting tenants to access the internet and digital technologies, developing a range of sign posting opportunities to support residents to become digitally capable
  • Researching and investigating the latest forms of appropriate digital technology and methods of digital inclusion

The Package

  • Salary of £26,959
  • Permanent contract, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (some flexibility available with start and finish times)
  • Hybrid / flexible working option, enabling you to combine working from home and our offices in Llandudno Junction as required

Our Requirements – Digital Officer

  • Proven experience of delivering a digital inclusion agenda, with a good understanding of the barriers facing some individuals with regards to digital technology
  • Ability to hold everyday conversations in Welsh
  • Good level of IT literacy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems, with a solutions-focused and can-do attitude
  • A valid UK driving licence and own transport
