Waterproofing Systems Training Manager – Approx.2 days per week in Flint (N.Wales), plus travel to sites in N.West, Midlands and Yorkshire.

Due to the continued growth and expansion of our companies, at Polyroof we have an exciting opportunity for a Training Manager to join the team, to deliver specialist contractor training for our liquid applied roofing systems.

The Role – Waterproofing Systems Training Manager

As the Training Manager, you will be involved in managing and delivering courses both at our Training Academy in Flint (North Wales), situated conveniently on the Cheshire border, and completing follow up training and site support at client locations across the North West, Midlands and Yorkshire. This is a hands on role, where you will spend approximately two days per week at the Training Academy, and the rest of your time will be spent on site.

Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

• Managing the training delivery to new and existing installers
• Upskilling all liquid waterproofing installers in conjunction with our continual improvement model and best practices
• Providing demonstration delivery at both in-house and off-site locations including demo days, product launches, contractor product and system launches
• Updating training presentations and product and system applications
• Ensuring that training is relevant and well communicated to a wide range of individuals, from site operatives to estimators and contracts managers
• Maintaining all training stock
• Developing training models and samples to showcase the systems

Our Requirements – Waterproofing Systems Training Manager

• Practical and hands on experience installing a variety of waterproofing systems, ideally liquid waterproofing systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with installers and others
• Ability to present using Microsoft PowerPoint and online learning methods
• Confidence to deliver training to different sectors within the business
• Strong organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• Reside within a two hour commute of our head office in Flint (North Wales)

Although not essential, proven experience within a training role would be highly advantageous.

The Package

As the Training Manager, you’ll be working within a business where open communication and strong teamwork is at the heart. You’ll benefit from:

• A salary in the region of £30,000 to £45,000, with level dependent on experience
• Company vehicle and mobile phone
• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays which will increase after 2 years’ service by one day per year, up to a maximum of 27 days plus bank holidays
• Permanent contract, working full time hours within Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet business needs
