Marketing Manager – potential to work from home with occasional visits to the office in Pwllheli.

With a rich history dating back to 1938, South Caernarfon Creameries is one of Wales’ main cheese production and cheese packaging companies, supplying to well-known supermarket brands such as Sainsburys, Lidl and Aldi. With a workforce of 160 employees and a turnover level of £60 million, we are developing at significant pace.

An ambitious 5-year growth plan is underway, which will see production levels increasing, employee numbers growing, and the ability to deliver services to a wider customer base. Heavy investment has been high on the agenda in recent years, with significant investment focused on a brand-new production plant and high-tech machinery. The Role – Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, as the Marketing Manager you will be required to develop, establish, and maintain marketing strategies both in print and online to meet company objectives, while overseeing and supporting the Sales and Marketing Coordinator. Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

  • Managing and coordinating all marketing, advertising, and activities
  • Designing a range of marketing materials to promote products for both online and offline, including email campaigns, PPC, and newspaper advertising
  • Conducting market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Developing and implementing marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
  • Expanding and developing marketing platforms including social media
  • Organising and coordinating tradeshow events
  • Determining and managing the marketing budget
  • Liaising with media and advertising companies
  • Collaborating with the Sales Team

Our Requirements – Marketing Manager

  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies, including digital marketing
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively
  • Excellent presentation, organisation and planning skills
  • Superb data analysis and management skills

Although not essential, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll benefit from:

This role would ideally be site based in Chwilog near Pwllheli. However, depending on the locality of the successful applicant, the role may be home based with occasional site visits where necessary.
