Multi-Skilled Engineer (CNC Machinist)

What will the role of Multi-Skilled Engineer (CNC Machinist) entail?
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, as a Multi-Skilled Engineer you’ll be working as part of a team of engineers dedicated to producing the best quality high precision products. You’ll be responsible for the operation of various conventional and CNC Machine tools including manual and semi CNC lathes, CNC milling machines and inspection equipment. You’ll be working with a variety of materials, primarily with stainless steel producing vacuum components and fabrications. You’ll also be expected to run the workshop in the Workshop Manager’s absence.
What will I need to be considered for this Multi-Skilled Engineer (CNC Machinist) vacancy?
Although not essential, vacuum knowledge, tig welding experience and experience of stress analysis and report writing would be highly advantageous for this role.
What will I receive in return?
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you’ll receive a salary of up to £30,000, level dependent on experience and qualifications, however a highly experienced Senior Machinist could earn a basic salary of up to £40,000 with the level dependent on skills and responsibility taken on. On occasion where overtime is required, this will be paid in addition to your salary.
Other benefits include 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme, death in service cover, free car parking and an early finish on Fridays.
You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm, and Friday 8am to 3:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs.
Location: Bala Enterprise Park (Gwynedd, North Wales). Good road links for commute from Wrexham, Oswestry, St Asaph, Llanrwst, Bangor and Mold etc.
