Due to continued growth and demand, at JM Renewable Solutions Ltd we have a super career opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join our highly skilled team, to undertake a highly autonomous role. With demand for renewable energy solutions expected to continue to grow at pace over the years ahead, this provides an exciting and secure future for both our company and valued team members.

You will predominantly be working on 1st and 2nd fix installations within the Cheshire area, although flexibility will be needed to work in other areas of North West England and North Wales as needed.

JM Renewable Solutions specialise in installing renewable energy systems for both domestic and commercial customers. We combine plumbing and electrical contracting under one roof and have many corporate clients including local authorities, builders and other well known and respected companies.

The company has received several prestigious awards in respect of installations carried out, and by employing the right calibre of people we aim to build on that success. You’ll be joining a growing team of 16 who are more like friends than colleagues.

Our offices are located in St Asaph in North Wales, with a skilled team working at customer sites and domestic properties across North Wales and North-West England.

Our Requirements – Electrician

Whilst experience within renewable energy installations is not essential as full training will be provided, you will:

  • Be an experienced Electrician with 1st and 2nd fix installation experience gained within commercial and domestic environments
  • Have a full UK driving licence
  • Have own tools (including power tools)
  • Willing and able to work alone

Although not essential, the following would be advantageous:

  • Qualified with 18th Edition Wiring Regs (C&G 2382)
  • Inspection & Testing (C&G 2382)
  • Knowledge of Solar PV installations and heating systems
  • CSCS/ECS card

The Package

  • Salary in the region of £28,000 to £31,000, level dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Company vehicle
  • Permanent contract, full time hours working Monday to Friday, although overtime may be available at weekends and where applicable is paid at time and a half on Saturdays and double pay on Sundays
  • Company pension

  • 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
