Manufacturing Stores Coordinator

An immediate start is available for an enthusiastic, friendly and positive professional to join our ambitious and rapidly expanding organisation, in a highly autonomous role where you’ll take full responsibility for the effective running of the stores and goods-in functions.

The Company

Unimaq Ltd is a global leader specialising in the design, development and manufacturing of large precision machines and equipment to print preformed beverage cans at speeds exceeding 2000 cans per minute. The fully automated high-speed machines are designed, manufactured, built and tested in Wrexham before being exported all over the world.

The Role – Stores Coordinator

Taking full responsibility for the Stores Department, your duties will include although will not be limited to:

  • Allocating stock to fulfil sales orders
  • Ordering packaging materials
  • Issuing kits to assembly
  • Processing goods inwards receipts
  • Checking stock levels and conducting stock takes
  • Providing general despatch support
  • Ensuring that health and safety standards are complied with across the company by all team members

Our Requirements – Stores Coordinator

  • Previous experience coordinating a busy warehouse / stores environment, with good working knowledge of MRP Systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident communicating via both e-mail and phone
  • A positive, flexible and resilient ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail whilst working at pace
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach to your work
  • Ability and willingness to work under pressure in challenging environments

Although not essential, knowledge and/or qualifications in Health and Safety would be highly advantageous.

The Package

As the Stores Coordinator, you’ll be part of a friendly working environment, where you’ll be encouraged to work independently using your own initiative, and you will benefit from:

  • Salary of £26,000 to £28,000 with the level dependent on experience
  • Private pension and healthcare cover after one years’ service
  • Permanent contract with full time hours, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

You’ll be based at our site on the Wrexham Industrial Estate in North Wales.
