PR and Marketing Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

Following a number of new account wins and continued growth, this is an exciting opportunity to join our creative and vibrant team as a PR and Marketing Account Executive.

The Role - PR and Marketing Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

As a PR and Marketing Account Executive, you’ll hit the ground running within an incredibly varied and exciting role, where you’ll write everything from press releases, blog posts and expert commentary, to social media posts and annual reports - your primary role will be to devise and create amazing content for our diverse client base! Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

  • Interviewing clients and writing press releases
  • Commissioning press-style photography
  • Liaising with the media and other influencers to place content in front of the right audiences
  • Pitching speculative story ideas and feature ideas to the media
  • Assisting the wider team to report on results from campaigns across a range of platforms
  • Obtaining third party quotes i.e. for advertising opportunities etc
  • Managing client outputs and attending client meetings
  • Working closely with the Account Managers to keep them informed of progress and ensuring all actions are delivered and deadlines met

Our Requirements - PR and Marketing Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

  • A foundation of experience in journalism, PR and communications and / or marketing, ideally gained within a B2B environment
  • Experience of using social media as a marketing tool
  • Excellent written skills, with the ability to produce creative and engaging content to suit a variety of different audiences
  • A strong nose for news
  • Excellent verbal communication skills (face to face and over the phone)
  • A quick and keen learner, you’ll be committed to developing your knowledge on the industries our clients operate within in order to continuously improve the content you deliver

The Package

As a PR and Marketing Account Executive, you will receive:

  • A salary in the region of £18,000 to £25,000 per annum, with the level dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Regular in-house training, plus investment into external training for career and personal development
  • Membership to the CIPR and full support for completing CPD
  • Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

You’ll be based in our office in Mold (North Wales), easily commutable from Cheshire and the North West. There is some scope for partial home working for the right candidate, however the first three months will need to be office based.
