What will this role of Technical Business Development Manager entail?
Reporting to the Commercial Director, as the Technical Business Development Manager you will take responsibility for revenue and profit, generating £1m worth of annual sales, and have the capability and desire to catapult our business into its next stage of growth.
60% of your time will be spent nurturing and developing existing client relationships maximising commercial opportunities, whilst 40% of your time will be spent on new business development, prospecting potential clients and converting new sales proposals and enquiries.
You will develop and implement revenue driving strategies, and improve sales operating processes, procedures and systems to maximise efficiencies and opportunities.
Taking responsibility for managing the Sales Executive, you will lead and motivate through a coaching and mentoring approach to ensure sales objectives are met.
As you excel within the role, there will be opportunity to expand the scope of your responsibilities to oversee and manage the Marketing Assistant, and influence the marketing communications strategy to ensure contact is timely and impactful within the customer journey.
What will I need in order to be considered for this Technical Business Development Manager vacancy?
You will have a proven track record demonstrating an empathetic sales approach to customers, focused marketing, strategic planning, and building strong customer relationships.
What will I receive in return?
As the Technical Business Development Manager, you’ll receive a package of £34,000 per annum inclusive of a car allowance, and in addition you will have the opportunity to benefit from a company performance-based bonus.
You will work from our offices in Flint in North Wales and will be employed on a permanent contract with full time hours that include an early finish on Fridays.
