Legal Secretary / Receptionist

Although welcome, no previous experience is required for this role.

With offices in Abergele and Llanrwst in North Wales, we provide a wide range of legal services covering conveyancing, wills and probate, landlord and tenant, lasting powers of attorney, and much more.

The Role – Legal Secretary / Receptionist

Supporting Fee Earners as a Legal Secretary within our Abergele office, you will provide high quality secretarial and administrative support to the team, ensuring efficiency and general organisation within the firm.

Your duties will include, although will not be limited to:

  • Audio and copy typing for all correspondence within a Legal Case Management System
  • Receiving and directing incoming calls, as well as making calls to clients, solicitors, courts and other external contracts
  • Greeting clients at our offices to take instructions and complete forms under the guidance of the Fee Earner
  • Undertaking filing, archiving, and updating necessary details on our database

Our Requirements – Legal Secretary / Receptionist

No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided, although you will be required to have:

  • Accurate and timely data entry skills, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident and polite telephone manner, with the ability to build professional relationships and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise workload effectively

Although not essential, previous legal secretarial or administrative support experience would be highly advantageous.

  • Salary of up to £18,000 with the level dependent on experience
