Senior Personal Injury Solicitor (5+ years PQE)

Remote / flexible working available with occasional visits to the Rhyl office in North Wales.

Have you supervised junior solicitors and would welcome a career development opportunity to grow and manage a team? Or perhaps, you’re already an experienced leader of a Personal Injury/Litigation department and seeking a firm that will enable you to reach your full potential and reward you well. If so, we have an excellent role for you…

Our Company

Gamlins Law is North Wales’ leading law firm for commercial and personal legal services. Our over 80 strong team operates from 6 offices across the region, and we have recently transformed from being a traditional high street firm into a regional powerhouse.

We see ourselves as trusted advisors to all our corporate and private clients, whether we are preparing a will, buying a home for them, handling a multi-million-pound medical negligence claim or helping them to sell their company.

The Role – Senior Personal Injury Solicitor

As part of the wider Litigation Department, you will benefit from guidance from our Head of Litigation, as you lead the Personal Injury Team. You’ll take ownership of more complex cases, whilst supporting the small team of 3 colleagues handling varying personal injury matters for claimants.

Our Requirements – Senior Personal Injury Solicitor

  • Be a Senior Personal Injury / Clinical Negligence Solicitor with at least 5 years post qualification experience
  • Experienced in handling complex claims including serious injury and catastrophic injury claims
  • Clinical negligence experience
  • Ability to support and mentor a team with previous supervisory or management experience
  • Proficient with IT and case management
  • Have an interest in business development and management of the department

The Package

Joining our forward-thinking and friendly firm, your career development and progression will be fully supported, and you’ll be encouraged to have a voice and bring fresh ideas to the table.

You’ll also benefit from:

  • An attractive salary, with the level dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Opportunity to earn a bonus
  • Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday with flexibility available around start and finish time
  • 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Option to join our pension scheme
  • Access to company health cover
  • Access to external Mental Health support

There is the option for full or part remote working, however you will be supporting a team based in the Rhyl office in North Wales, and therefore some visits to the Rhyl office will be required.

All applications for this Senior Personal Injury Solicitor vacancy are to be submitted online.
