National Account Manager

Fire protection industry experience is essential. Salary of £40,000 plus bonuses OTE of £60,000+.

Offering installation and maintenance services, Jackson offers a wide range of solutions from basic fire extinguishers through to large commercial installations.

What will this role of National Account Manager (Sales / New Business Development) entail?

As the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and co-ordinating the management of our 12 branch network, assisting Branch Directors with technical sales training and account management across our range of fire and security systems.

You will take full management responsibility for driving sustainable growth, setting branch targets and monitoring sales and quality performance, ensuring each branch and franchisee has a business plan / sales forecast and can report on their monthly sales and marketing activity.

You’ll manage the key account list to maximise sales opportunities and profit, support branches to get new business and develop those relationships and take a hands-on approach to managing large and national contracts where you will act as the face of the business.

As part of this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring our quality systems are regularly reviewed and maintained, carrying out internal branch audits and assisting our local branch network in preparing for external audits.

You’ll work from our head office in Mold, North Wales keeping in contact with our branches via Microsoft Teams with monthly team meetings and occasional visits to our branches when required.

What will I receive in return as a National Account Manager (Sales / New Business Development)?

As the National Account Manager, you’ll receive a salary of £40,000 level dependent on experience, plus bonuses that will enable you to achieve on target earnings (OTE) £60,000+.

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility will be required to support the needs of the business with occasional overnight stays.

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager or New Business Development Manager, with a strong track record of sales success within the Fire Protection industry
  • Results driven with determination and hunger to succeed
  • Superb leadership qualities
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory screening to BS7858:2019 and Enhanced DBS check.
