HR Officer – Welsh speaking essential. Option to choose either full time or part time hours.

Who will I be working with?

Dolen HR provides an outsourced HR service to SMEs, charities and third sector organisations across North Wales. With the ability to deliver services in both Welsh and English, we supply employers with varied packages, from a complete outsourced HR Department to working on bespoke projects.

What will this role of HR Officer entail?

As a HR Officer, you will join a team of three associates in a varied and reactive role. Swift, accurate and exceptional service is at the heart of what we do and you’ll thrive working in this type of environment.

This is a generalist HR role, where one day you could be dealing with redundancies and the next, supporting a client with their induction process. You must be a confident and fluent Welsh speaker and be able to deliver our services through the medium of Welsh as well as English.

Your duties will include although not be limited to supporting clients with initial HR queries; carrying out inductions, candidate screening, writing job descriptions and person specifications; arranging webinars; event management tasks; writing policies, designing toolkits and researching HR best practices.

What will I need in order to be considered for this HR Officer vacancy?

  • Proven experience working within HR
  • Qualified to at least CIPD Level 3
  • Fluent Welsh speaker
  • Ability to thrive within a reactive environment and when working under pressure

What will I receive in return?

As a HR Officer, you’ll receive a salary of £20,000 to £25,000 (to be pro rata if part time) level dependent on experience, plus a range of benefits including unlimited annual leave, employee discounts and wellbeing initiatives.

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, with the option to choose either full or part time hours (from 25 hours per week to 37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.

Location: MSparc in Gaerwen (Angelsey, North Wales), although employees are currently working remotely on a temporary basis.
