HR Administrator / HR Assistant

The Role – HR Administrator / HR Assistant

Reporting to the Group Head of HR, as a HR Assistant you will enjoy a busy and varied role, working as part of our small and friendly HR Team based within the head office in Llangefni (Anglesey, North Wales). Your duties will include, although not be limited to:

  • Being a point of contact for all day to day HR administration enquiries
  • Working on queries and employment contract changes
  • Arranging return to work interviews
  • Updating and maintaining the HR system
  • Monitoring and administering the company absence policy
  • Supporting recruitment activities and interview preparation
  • Issuing offer packs and contracts of employment to new employees
  • Ensuring the highest standards of confidentiality and the integrity of HR records and conduct

You will benefit from full training of all systems, and as you develop within the role, there is scope for you to take on more responsibility. For the right candidate, opportunity will also be available to progress with a professional qualification (such as CiPD) if desired.

Our Requirements – HR Administrator / HR Assistant

  • Proven experience gained within a busy office administration role, with the desire to progress a career in HR (previous experience in HR is not essential, but would be ideal)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and timely and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, working to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • IT literate, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Confidence when handling a wide range of data, including sensitive and personal information
  • An enthusiastic nature, with a desire to learn and be flexible in your approach
