Business Development Manager (B2B Service Contract Sales)

This is primarily a field-based role, and you’ll be allocated locations to cover (across North Wales or Cheshire) depending on where you live, with some work from home.

The Role – Business Development Manager

Reporting to the Sales Director, as the Business Development Manager, you’ll oversee and coordinate the sales of service and maintenance contracts for a range of fire and security systems with new and existing customers, at commercial premises. Your duties will include:

  • Taking full management responsibility for driving sustainable growth
  • Ensuring your allocated branch has a robust forecast of new business sales
  • Working closely with the Sales Director to maximise new business sales opportunities, reporting regularly and participating in weekly branch meetings

This role will be field based with the majority of your time spent developing sales opportunities directly at customer sites, however there is a requirement to be flexible and work from home.

The Package

  • Package of up to £50,000 with level dependent on experience at outset and performance
  • Car allowance, and expenses paid
  • Pension scheme
  • Up to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, level dependent on length of service
  • Additional day off for your birthday
  • Team building days out
  • Permanent contract with full time hours working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, although flexibility will be required to support the needs of the business

The Requirements – Business Development Manager

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in a B2B environment, with a track record of sales
  • Strong commercial acumen and results driven with determination and hunger to succeed
  • Ability to work towards achieving monthly sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS and BS7858 checks
