Are you an Engineering Manager within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally food or FMCG manufacturing?

Do you know what good looks like, in terms of leadership, people management and engineering/maintenance strategy?

The Company:

• site is profitable and has further investment planned
• leader in their sector in terms of products but also in their support for their employees, key stakeholders and the community

The Candidate:

• Proven track record of Engineering leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally Food or FMCG manufacturing.
• Ideally used to managing an Engineering department of more than 30 people.
• Strong leadership style, able to drive change and engage the team to deliver the Engineering strategy.
• Proven experience of delivering improved equipment/asset reliability, using various maintenance techniques, including CBM.
• Formally qualified in Engineering
• IOSH and Food Safety qualifications preferably.
• Coaching and mentoring style of leadership.

The Role:

• This role reports into the Factory Manager/Site Lead and is responsible for the Engineering department of this large Food manufacturing site.
• Lead the Engineering team to continuously improve plant reliability.
• Implement and embed Engineering Best Practice, working in conjunction with the Group.
• Work in partnership with the other key site functions, in particular Operations and CI to deliver the site objectives.
