Are you ready to drive growth and innovation within one of the UK’s premier optic manufacturers? Glyndwr Innovations Ltd (GIL), a subsidiary of Wrexham University at the OpTIC Technology Centre in St Asaph, has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales & Marketing Manager.

In this senior role, you will lead and shape the sales and marketing strategy for GIL, a company renowned for designing and manufacturing high-end optical components and systems for an international clientele. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record in sales and marketing within the precision engineering sector, ideally with knowledge of the precision optics industry.

As the Technical Sales & Marketing Manager, you will:

• Develop and execute effective sales strategies.
• Drive successful sales activities from prospecting and qualifying opportunities to developing proposals, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Create and implement marketing strategies to enhance GIL’s visibility and market presence.

This role offers a varied and challenging environment, requiring a self-motivated professional who excels in meeting tight deadlines and working both independently and as part of a team. Exceptional communication and organizational skills, along with a keen eye for detail, are essential.

While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, it is not essential.
