My client is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their large manufacturing firm. You would be responsible for managing the accounts payable process and ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.

Duties will include:

Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Verify purchase orders and match them with invoices
Resolve queries related to invoices or payments
Reconcile supplier statements with the ledger and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare and process payment runs
Maintain accurate records of all transactions
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Assist with month-end closing activities
Placing of Purchase Orders

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar role
Proficient in using Sage accounting software
